ALCANCE Y CONTENIDO

Video titled: “Territorial Transformation. Chocó women. At the heart of the implementation of the Final Agreement. Barometer Initiative. In this video they talk about the Chocó´s Regional Women’s network, an entity that has been working for 27 years for political, economic and social empowerment of Chocó´s women (black, mestizo and indigenous), trying to work on projects focused on gender equality and peacebuilding. In the context of this conflict in the Chocó region, women have been victims and victimized, but those women have played a very important role in the reconstruction of their society. Chocó’s regional women’s network was the first organization to educate people about the Peace Agreement. This was possible because they had a focus on peace for the women in Chocó. Thus, they created a Peace Agenda for women in Chocó. They talk about the role of women leaders in the implementation of the Final Agreement in the search for peace.
