This research addresses the Colombian case, where reconciliation has been in the public discourse since the implementation of the Justice and Peace Law in 2005 and, evenmore, nowadays in the current peace processes between the National Government and the FARC and the ELN. In this context, according to researchers and practitioners of the issue in the country, there is a significant variety of conceptualizations and experiences in this field led by different social organizations. Especifically, the research question that was intended to be answered is: which are the assumptions, objectives and practices developed by Fundación para la Reconciliación and Confraternidad Carcerlaria de Colombia in terms of reconciliation? Based on this question, the proposals of each organization regarding reconciliation programs among victims and victimizers were studied and, later, a contraste was made between each case, this with the aim of increasing the understanding of how reconciliations is being concieved in the country. Additionally, some learnings that may be relevant for a posconflic scenario in Colombia were identified. Author: María Paula Unigarro Alba.
