Video from the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, corresponding to the fourth comprehensive report on the status of the implementation of the Final Agreement in Colombia entitled “Three years after the signing of the Final Agreement in Colombia: Moving towards a territorial transformation. December 2018 to November 2019″. In this video, “Point by point: The Status of Peace Agreement implementation in Colombia. Point 1: Comprehensive Rural Reform. Towards the new countryside in Colombia”. This point outlines the biggest long and medium term transformations and lays out the foundation to improve living conditions and reduce poverty for rural communities. The Comprehensive Rural Reform addresses issues including the Development Plans with a Territorial Focus (PDET), the National Land Fund, the access to land, a massive formalization of property, the conflict resolution over land tenure and its use, and the Multipurpose cadastre System, among others.They present how is the implementation of point 1 progressing, as well as its challenges and opportunities.
