Barometer Initiative in Colombia: Accompanying Peace Accord Implementation

Video in which they explain how the Colombia Barometer Initiative takes the methodology of the Peace Agreements Matrix with which the 34 Peace Agreements in the world are followed up to apply it into the Final Agreement signed in 2016, and combines it with real-time monitoring and verification. They point out that this aspect makes it possible to report on progress, focus on areas that need attention, enable decision-making by key actors and identify improvement options. As stipulated in the Agreement, the Kroc Institute provides technical assistance to the International Verification Component (CIV) and the Implementation Follow-up, Promotion and Verification Commission (CSIVI), and promotes the highest levels of implementation. Periodically, it presents comprehensive reports on the status of the implementation of the 578 commitments of the Final Agreement, as well as reports on cross-cutting issues, including the implementation of gender and ethnic approaches and the territorial perspective of implementation.
