María Ángela Holguín

She studied political science and earned postgraduate degrees in public management and administrative institutions, diplomacy, and strategy. She was the private secretary of the Inspector General’s Office of Colombia, as well as the director of the Latin American headquarters of Worldview International Foundation and the Andean Development Corporation. She built a long career in diplomacy and international relations as chief of staff at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassador to Venezuela, ambassador to the UN, and minister of foreign affairs. She participated at the Negotiation Table as a national government plenipotentiary, beginning on May 27, 2015.
