ALCANCE Y CONTENIDO

Report prepared by the Area of Peace and Armed Conflict of Colombia Diversa, whose purpose is to offer conceptual and methodological tools to activists, academics and justice operators to gain a more comprehensive approach on the phenomenon of violence due to prejudice against LGBT people (lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people) in the armed conflict. The report takes into account that the Final Peace Agreement signed between the Colombian State and the extinct FARC-EP guerrilla, as well as other Transitional justice mechanisms that preceded it, such as the Justice and Peace Law or the Victims Law, have integrated political opportunities into the legal matrix of the political transition for non-organized LGBT organizations and people, to take their demands for truth, justice and reparation to the State bodies.
