Completion of the process to disable and destroy FARC-EP weapons
| After the FARC-EP’s laying down of arms—a process that included the collection of 8,994 firearms, 38,255 kilograms of explosives, and 11,015 grenades, among other war materials, by the UN Mission in Colombia—the Mission proceeded to disable these weapons. In the case of firearms, the materials remaining after their disposal were used to build three commemorative monuments. |
