The Great National Dialogue occurred after a narrow victory for “No” in the peace Plebiscite. Over 60 meetings were held with promoters of both “No” and “Yes,” civil society, church representatives, and political party members, who proposed adjustments and clarifications to the document, most of which were included in the new Final Agreement for the End of Conflict and the Construction of a Stable and Lasting Peace.
